StillGrid™ Grounding Sheet — Sleep Connected

4.9 · 150 reviews

A wide panel of cotton woven with 10% silver fiber — in two sizes, Half for your side of the bed or Full for the whole top — with a small snap plate at the corner and a thin cord that plugs into your outlet’s ground port. Either size lies on top of your bed like a top sheet — Twin, Queen, King, futon, it doesn’t care.

Snapping the grounding cord onto the sheet corner at night

The story

“Wait — so you guys don’t do this every night?”

The first thing you notice is the fabric: cool, smooth, faintly metallic in the light, with a fine grid you can actually see. The second thing you notice is the cord — a thin white line running off the corner of your bed and into the wall, which looks strange for about one night.

By night three it’s just part of going to bed. Lights off, phone down, sheet plugged in. StillGrid isn’t a gadget you operate; it’s a small ritual you finish the day with. No batteries, no app, no settings, nothing to remember except the click.

Pairs well with bare feet a cold room phone in the drawer the good pillow

How to set it up

Four steps, then you never think about it again

1
Lay it along your bedHead-to-toe on top of your fitted sheet, right where your body goes. It doesn’t tuck and it doesn’t wrap the mattress — it just lies there like a top sheet. No fitted corners, nothing to stretch.
2
Snap the cord to the corner plateThere’s a small black snap plate sewn at one corner. Press the cord’s snap onto it until it clicks. That click is the whole assembly process.
3
Plug into the ground portThe plug seats in the round ground hole of a standard grounded outlet — not the live slots. Not sure your outlet is grounded? A cheap outlet tester from any hardware store tells you in two seconds.
4
Sleep on it, skin touchingBare skin or a thin cotton layer against the panel. Then leave it plugged in and forget it — there’s nothing to switch on, charge, or reset in the morning.

About the “won’t I get electrocuted?” question. Fair question, and the answer is in the wiring: the cord connects to the ground pin only — the round third hole that exists specifically to carry stray charge away. It never touches the live or neutral slots, and an inline current-limiting resistor sits between the outlet and the fabric. Unplug it during electrical storms, the same way you’d unplug a TV.

For the skeptics

Static discharge you can measure

Don’t take our word for it. Test the fabric.

Half the internet is arguing about whether grounding sheets are a scam. We’d rather hand you a test than an argument. Touch the probes of a continuity tester — or the leads of a cheap multimeter — to two separate points on the silver grid. It lights up. The fabric conducts.

That’s what StillGrid is: conductive fabric connected to your home’s ground. Static that would otherwise build up on you and your bedding gets a path away instead. You can verify every part of that yourself with a $10 tester, which is more than most bedding can say.

Static potential settling to ground — an illustration, not a lab result. Check the real thing on your own sheet with a $10 multimeter.

💡What we do claimThe panel is woven with 10% silver fiber and conducts — testable on arrival. The cord bonds it to your outlet’s ground. It feels cool and silky, and it makes a simple, repeatable bedtime ritual.
🚫What we don’t claimNothing about your body. No inflammation, hormones, recovery, pain, immunity, aging, or sleep-stage claims — and no “clinically proven” anything. If a page promises you biology, be suspicious of that page.

The details

Coverage, stated plainly

So you know exactly what arrives
  • It comes in two flat panelsHalf (80 × 39 in) runs the full length of the bed, head to toe, covering one sleeper’s side — centre it if you sleep solo, or lay two side by side for a couple; Full (80 × 78 in) covers the whole sleeping surface.
  • It does not tuck in, wrap the mattress, or cover the bed end-to-end. It is not a fitted sheet and does not replace one.
  • Because it lies on top, mattress size never matters — Twin through King, futon, sofa bed, either panel works the same way.
  • Want head-to-toe contact, or full coverage for two sleepers on a King? Choose the Full size — or lay two Half panels side by side, which is why the 2-sheet bundle is the popular one.

Two panels, every bed

See it on your bed size

Two panel sizes, both running head-to-toe down the bed: Half (80 × 39 in / 203 × 99 cm) covers your side, Full (80 × 78 in / 203 × 198 cm) covers the whole top. Pick your country and mattress to see exactly how each fits.

Same panel in every country — only the wall plug changes, and you pick that above. It rests on your fitted sheet and washes like any other bedding.

The comments section

Four things people say before they try it

Answered the way we’d answer a friend — no mysticism, no hard sell.

“You sleep on metal sheets?!” Technically yes — and it doesn’t feel like it. The silver is spun into the yarn as a fine grid, so what you actually touch is cool, smooth cotton with a faint sheen. No mesh, no scratch, no crinkle.
“If lightning strikes, you’re cooked.” The cord connects to the ground pin only — never the live or neutral slots — with an inline current-limiting resistor in between. Same as any appliance: unplug it during an electrical storm and you’re done worrying.
“Just go outside and stand on grass.” Honestly, do that too. But it’s February, it’s 11pm, and it’s raining. This is the version that happens on a Tuesday, for eight hours, without you doing anything.
“What size do I need?” Just one easy call: Half or Full. Both panels run head-to-toe down the bed and simply lie on top, so there’s no Twin/Full/Queen/King decision to get wrong and no elastic corners to fight. Half (80 × 39 in) covers one sleeper’s side — or two side by side for a couple; Full (80 × 78 in) covers the whole top. Check either one against your exact mattress here — they span every standard size from a US Twin to an Aussie Super King.

It's amazing! Arrived quickly in good condition, i was sceptical but slept better from the first night… slept through the night from the third night. Absolutely incredible, i'd highly recommend this fantastic experience, higher silver percentage than most. I will buy more for friends.

The photo shows it differently because in the photo the sheet has double fabric, but this one is just a single layer. However, what matters to me is that it works and I see results. It comes very well made and presented. I am satisfied.

Fit well, the material is also good. I made a test with a multimeter and the body voltage was lower twice than usual but not 0v like a feet pad. I think it works at all because you slept 7-8 hours per night and if you have direct contact it works.

Very quick delivery. I ordered a grey bedsheet and got a white one, but it's ok; i won't deduct stars because of that. I have been sleeping on it for a whole month now and i have to say that i noticed a bit of tingling and a kind of energy flow in like half a minute. Nice feeling.

I don't know if it's visible in the photos, but the fabric became very wrinkled during hand washing. It wasn't ironed because we don't want to damage the fibers, and it's quite unpleasant in direct contact with bare skin, so it's not suitable for people with phobias related to textures, touch, etc. No fabric softener was added to the wash, and a gentle detergent was used. I've only slept on it for 5 days so far, so I haven't noticed any difference. I hope it will improve the quality of sleep.

This is already the third time I've purchased this product from the same supplier in different sizes: the cotton quality is excellent, the dimensions are precise, and the delivery is fast. All the sheets purchased have shown good 'grounding' capacity.

StillGrid questions, answered straight

The things people ask us before they order.

What size do I need for my bed?
Just pick Half or Full — your mattress size doesn’t matter for either. Both are flat panels that lie across the top of your fitted sheet: Half (80 × 39 in / 203 × 99 cm) covers roughly the middle of the bed, shoulders to knees; Full (80 × 78 in / 203 × 198 cm) covers the whole sleeping surface, head to toe. That 80 in span covers the full width of every standard mattress in the countries we ship to — US/Canada Twin through King and Cal King, UK/Ireland Single through Super King (6ft), Australia/NZ Single through Super King — with fabric to spare on all but the very widest, where it’s an exact edge-to-edge fit. Use the size guide to see either panel drawn on your exact bed. Neither tucks in, and neither replaces your fitted sheet. Want head-to-toe contact, or full coverage for two people on a King? Go Full — or lay two Half panels side by side.
Where exactly does the cord plug in?
Into the ground port of a standard grounded wall outlet — the round third hole in a U.S. outlet, or the earth pin on EU, UK, and AU sockets. Not the live slots. If you’re not sure your outlet is grounded, a basic outlet tester (about $10 at any hardware store) tells you instantly. If the outlet isn’t grounded, the cord won’t do anything useful there — try another room, or use a grounding rod kit run to soil outside.
Can I get shocked by it?
The cord bonds to the ground pin only. Ground is the wire that exists to carry stray charge away from you — it isn’t a power source, and the cord never touches the live or neutral slots. An inline current-limiting resistor sits between the outlet and the fabric as an extra layer. Standard care applies: keep the cord away from pinch points, inspect it if it ever looks damaged, and unplug during electrical storms the same way you’d unplug a TV.
How do I know the silver grid actually works?
Test it. Touch the probes of a continuity tester — or the leads of a cheap multimeter set to continuity — to two separate points on the woven grid. It completes the circuit and lights up or beeps. That test proves exactly one thing, and it’s the thing we claim: the fabric conducts, and when the cord is plugged into a grounded outlet, that conductive panel is bonded to your home’s ground so static has a path away instead of building up on your bedding.
What does it feel like to sleep on?
Cool and smooth, with a faint silky sheen and a grid you can see up close but barely feel. It’s quieter than a percale sheet and slightly cooler to the touch than plain cotton. Nothing buzzes, warms up, or lights up — there’s no electronics in it at all.
Do I need bare skin on it?
Direct contact is the point, so bare skin — or a thin cotton layer — against the panel works best. Thick blankets, mattress protectors, or a duvet between you and the sheet defeat the purpose. Most people sleep with an arm, calf, or shoulder resting on it and don’t think about it after the first night.
How do I wash it?
Unsnap the cord first, then machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and line dry. No bleach and — importantly — no fabric softener: softener coats the silver fibres and dulls their conductivity over time. Skip the hot dryer too. Treat it like a nice sheet and it stays testable.
Which plug region should I choose?
Whichever outlet shape is on the wall next to your bed: US (Type B), EU (Type E/F Schuko), UK (Type G), or AU (Type I). The sheet and cord are identical in every region — only the plug end changes. Ordered the wrong one? Message us within 30 days and we’ll sort it out.
How does bundle pricing work?
Simple: add 2 sheets and $10 per sheet comes off automatically; add 3 and $15 per sheet comes off. The discount is applied in your cart — no code to hunt for. In the Half size that’s $139.90 for two ($69.95 each) or $194.85 for three ($64.95 each) — Full sheets get the same $10/$15 per-sheet discount off their price.
Is this a medical device?
No. StillGrid is a bedding and comfort accessory: conductive fabric, a cord, and a calm bedtime ritual. It is not a medical device, it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and we make no health claims of any kind. If you have a medical question, ask a clinician — not a bed sheet.
